This project explores the development of a visual identity for Taquería Mixe Oaxaca 1993, a brand that celebrates tradition, flavor, and taco culture through a vibrant and approachable graphic language. The concept is centered around the trompo (vertical spit), reimagined in a playful cartoon style that brings warmth, personality, and a distinctive character.


The logo integrates the characteristic colors of the trompo, evoking the visual and sensory experience of tacos al pastor. Surrounding elements such as limes, leaves, and pineapple enhance the sense of freshness while referencing the essential ingredients that define this culinary tradition, in alignment with the client’s vision.


The identity balances tradition with a contemporary and dynamic graphic approach, resulting in a bold and memorable brand rich in visual flavor. Taquería Mixe Oaxaca 1993 positions itself as a space that honors its roots while connecting authentically with its audience.
